89 FXRS exhaust swap to newer dyna exhaust will it work?? PLEASE HELP

I have an 89 FXRS (rubbermounted)and love the samson big guns 3 pipes, but they do not have an application for my bike. They do have them for the newer dyna's and i was wondering if the pipes would fit? and how much modification has to be done to the mount? Is it at least close? any help or advice on this is appreciated.Steve
