Default Louder baffles or removing baffles

I have a set of v&h oval slipons on an '06 road king. I was thinking of removing the baffles. Does anyone know what this will do? Is the low-end performance loss very noticeable? Is there also a loss to the midrange performance? I want the pipes to be a little louder than what they are now.

If removing the baffle all together is not a good option, does anyone know where I can find a baffle that will let out more thunder?

Thanks,

Sky

If you read enough past posts you'll find that removing your baffles is a very bad idea. It's robs you of power and messes up your motor. Look into "Big City Thunder" baffles, or see what other baffles V&H offers.

Default Be sure to dyno it

I've replaced my stock pipes with these and wide open:

OMG, my 02 Softail came to life! And they aren't obnoxiously loud, but I would recommend having a baffle in your pipes for proper back pressure.

Be sure to have your bike dyno'd after making the mods to adjust your carb or FI to work most efficiently
