Default Recommendations Please

I'm thinking of upgrading to a new exhaust for my Twin Cam Ultra. Basically stock. Nothing too loud please.

Thanks.

Default Thinking too

I have been thinking over the same thing, Baggerdad. Lots of manufacturers cater to young riders who are impressed by a bunch of noise. I went down that road in my younger days, but I know better now. The best bet for folks like us might be the Supertrapp SE slip on mufflers. That way we can put in however many discs we want, to adjust the noise level and performance. I have used their products on other bikes in the past and like them. Have a great day. Ride safe and God bless. Sincerely: Shovelmike.

I have a 2007 Ultra Classic - I have Rinehart True Duals - SERT and SE Air Filter - I also had it dynoed. I love the sound of the Rineharts because they are very mellow until you twist the throttle..........my suggestion is while your out riding - listen - if you hear a particluar sound you like - ask the rider what it is.
Everyone has their opinion on what is to loud or not loud enough.....

Default Bagger Pipes - And I don't mean bag pipes, Scotty!

We've found full-dresser owners like to just swap out the stock slip-ons with different mufflers that attach to their existing head pipes. (No sense swapping out the head pipes as they're perfectly good!) You can dress it up with fish tails, rockets, megaphones, or bell tips, or if you want to get crazy, put on some gatlin-gun style Tailgunners or Jet Pipes. Paughco makes many different models, which we carry. Here are some that might be of interest to you:

Hope that helps!

I let this post go through because it seemed to be a response to another member's question, but it also seems like SPAM to me. I'm going to keep an eye on future posts to make sure they aren't, in fact, SPAM (we don't like SPAM on this forum).

I have an '07 Electra Glide Classic. I too wanted more sound, so after lots of checking on the forum, and speaking with other bagger riders at my local HOG Chapter, I went with the Rinehart slip-ons, SERT, and HD Stage 1 (air filter). I love the way they sound, the way they look, and the performance is great. I couldn't be more satsified.

Good luck- there are lots of choices in slip-ons out there. Most seem good. You just have to try to listen to the different ones at your local bike nites, etc. to find the ones that will sound the way you want.

IMHO, Probably can't go wrong with Rinehart Slip Ons to your Existiing Pipes they have a rich tone that speaks up but not overly so. I may have went with them myself on a bigger bike but for the Sporty I ride, Vance and Hines delivered the sound I was looking for...
