Se 08 Roadking

I have a SE Road King also. It is the best riding Harley I have owned.

However, my rear head gasket started weeping at a little ofver 3500 miles. See the posting on Leaking CVO on this site. The problem may be heat related. On some the cylinder liner has apparently shifted causing a leak. Harley put out a new head gasket to correct the problem they learned of from the 07 110s. However, our 08 have the new gasket and several of them, such as mine, have started to leak. Harley is not openly addressing the issue but hopefully with the help of Donny / AIM this can be corrected. As Harley realizes sales are attached to the reputation, I hope they step up and correct the problem. I do not want to trash Harley, I want them to simply uphold their part of the bargain. I paid cash, they deliver a reliable scoot.

Hope you have good luck with yours and may you have no leaks.

Mine is going in the shop as soon as I get a trailer and it stops snowing.

Keep the painted parts up.
