Legally, they cannot void warranty for you doing the work.

Just do it right.

AND, any issue denied MUST be caused by the work you did improperly.

They can't deny a swingarm claim because you put in an air cleaner, etc.

These guys are correct. The dealership CANNOT void your warranty because you do the maintenance or because the mufflers have been changed. I went through the same crap with my local stealership and then I called Milwaukee. I have V&H basic slip ons, arlen ness big sucker, and the V&H fuel pak on my 07 Street Glide and it has run great for the 5000 miles since I did the work. I also got my stuff from American Classic Motors. Next time you go to the stealership that threatened to void your warranty do as I did. Print them out a copy of the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act and hand them that. Chances are they have seen it but it really pisses them off when you confront them about it.
