Default Cycle Shack Slip ons

looking at them for my Springer (No, not the fishtail ones)

Any comments as to noise and quality?

Reasonably priced alternatives?

Blues...

I have them on my EVO. They are not the quietest of the muffler pipes but they have a nice sound. If your looking for real quiet I would say NO. Performance wise they definitely helped out through the powerband. Good luck. Oh...Cant beat the price either. Botz

What Botzman said...exactly !!! Not much difference in noise-level compared to say SE slip-ons..if any..and better sounding in my mind.!

My wife has some real expensive SE II's on her Deluxe, so that sound or so is OK.

$30 is expensive, right?

(the deals you find out there, huh?)

Ran Cycle Shack slip-ons on two Sportsters. Sounded fine and boosted performance some too.
I found that short shifting in residential areas took care of any unwanted noise.
Price was good too.

Mid 90's decibels, great sound, great performer, half the price! Enough said!

Wife wants to nix the slip ons.

She likes both on one side, like her Deluxe.

And D&D makes a nice black 2 into 1.

Any experience?

'98 Heritage-Springer..lost the dual cross-overs (and KERKER fish-tails) it came with..replaced with Cycle Shack staggered-dual (one side) M pipes,just requiring appropriate mounting-bracket not included..which you'd have to replace with ANY one-side set-up,anyhow. They LOOK good...they SOUND good...they PERFORM well...they're PRICED right..and IMO a 2:1 system on a SPRINGER just AIN'T right !!!!!! Well..here again..IMO anyhow !!!

I agree. You can open up the the baffle tab some, if you want them louder.
