Talking Grinning from ear to ear

After 17 days my new exhaust finally showed and having the day off I figured what better time than now to install it. I was a one man show with the aid of my wife when needed I got my pipes installed in about 2 1/2 hours. They are the V&H big shots staggered and talk about a night and day difference. I only started the bike twice after putting them on (once to ensure there were no leaks and the second time to just hear them again). I couldn't get the smile off of my face, even the wife was smiling and said she couldn't wait to hear them when I put them on. Once the fuelpak gets here and I throw it on, the hand will be out of the brace and I will be gone for a good long ride. Had to share.....

Glad to hear it. Isnt it funny how you have to hear it twice, just for s and g. When we get older our toys just louder.

Everything worked out pretty good. The bike turned out well, once I get a little bit of time I'll post some pics on the board. I got the new tank put on this past saturday. The bike is pretty much the way I want it, the only thing I have left to do, that I want to do is matte black lower fork sliders, lower it 2inches all the way around, and a smoked tail light lenses.

I love the sound of my V&H pipes. I still grin everytime I bust them open.

Thanks botz....I can proudly say I did all of the work myself with the exception of changing out the tank. I had the tank for almost a month and the entire time contemplated it, but decided I was better off letting the dealer do it. If my bike were carb'd I would of in a heartbeat. That's why I waited a month...lol! To see if I could conjur up the cojones to do it, just couldn't.

You don't want to see pics right now...she's dirty! I'll be on vacation for the next 30 days with nothing to do, but wash, shine, and ride. I'll get some pics up.
