Default RB Racing LSR 2:1 pipes

Has anybody ever run the RB Racing LSR 2:1 pipes on any of their Harleys? Interested in getting one for my 2006 Dyna. RB racing has been doing O2 sensing on their pipes for a long time and it might be best suited than any of the ones coming out especially since HD is utilizing the O2 sensor this year. How is tunability, fit , finish, sound (loudness) and performance numbers?

I don't know much about the lsr's but it's my understanding that vance and hines either has or is developing an exhaust system for the new bikes with O2 sensors.

Lots of Sporty riders that I know of are using them and there is a lot of info to be had on them but I need permission from Steveb to let you know where to get the info.

I can tell you that they are some of the loudest pipes you can find.

Well it is not my info but here is a good review of these pipes on a Sporty here. This is a quote from another forum.

"I was impressed by the fit and finish. The black ceramic coating is flawless. The thing really hugs the motor, the bike is definitely thinner than it was with my screamin eagle II slip ons. The old girl also lost some significant weight with the install. The UPS package weighed 17.8 pounds total, I think the cross over bracket itself weighs 20-25 pounds without the head pipes and mufflers. It feels lighter (first long rides were April 2 and 3)."

"I have no dyno data, and I wont speculate, but my physical bulk used to stop my acceleration at a certain mph (aerodynamics are not what I was built for) and now the bike pulls through that barrier. So, I guess it runs harder. I will post dyno stuff when I get it tuned."

"Oh, I forgot about the sound. Guess best description was from a riding buddy, "sprint car loud". It does sound like a sprint car or one of them flat boats with the V-8 engines and the big headers sticking out the top. It just has that racy sound to it. They are loud when you get on it, but not too bad compared to my friends Rhinehart 2 into 2s if you stay out of the throttle. They are definitely louder than my SE II slip ons, and they will ROAR if you crack it!

"I got the Pro Stock 2-1 from RB. Sounds like you got the LSR 2-1. I think the difference is that the Pro Stock is just an 11 degree collector venting to the 2.5 inch pipe, whereas the 2-1 LSRs have a special made baffle that flows free, but reduces sound a little bit.

Anyway, I am very happy with the sound and look. I wish the rest of my motor was coated the same as the pipe. Well, maybe someday..."

"Just installed the silver ceramic turn-out and what a performance difference over the Khrome Werks HP-Plus pipes. Very smooth power delivery and no vibration at 60 mph. Sounds louder at idle, but I can't describe the sound at higher rpm, other than WOW. It now takes a lot more self-control to stay off the throttle. Yesterday, a buddy with a 102" Yamaha Star with Rineharts wouldn't drag race but wanted to try a 50 mph roll on. I let off at 115 and he caught up. Afterward, he was more excited than me about going so fast. These pipes should come with a warning "Could be dangerous to your health"

This is just a little of the info that I have. Photos are also available but there is no way to post them here.

At the risk of renewing an old topic ... I have been looking at the RB pipes also. I am trying to decide whether to go with the basic LSR 2:1 ... or their more quiet "Black Hole" 2:1. Anybody have any experience with the "Black Hole" pipes ... or the others for that matter?
