Default Black over chrome.
I'm thinking of going all black for exhaust.

Any ideas or sources for coating?

i agree,on black bikes with powdercoated motors black exaust looks frickin sweet,that's why i think i'm gonna go with either the black sideshots or the black 2-1 big radius from vance & hines.the black ceramic is pricey compared to chrome,but i think worth it.sorry that doesn't really answer anything about your question,but i just felt like throwin that in there.
