Default D&D Fat Cat Exhaust Problems

4587.1

I need to make a public apology to D&D Exhaust here and retract most of what I said. I just loosened the heat shields and they moved right into place. I probably deserve the jacka$$ of the year award. I relied on my dealer to install my exhaust correctly. I found that 2 of the clamps weren't even tightened. I'm surprised that I didn't have any rattles. I am feeling like a real idiot right now. It took me all of 10 minutes or less to put the shields in place. They are about as close to perfect as I could ever expect out of something like this.

I will call them in the morning to apologize to them directly. I'm still not pleased about never receiving my Ghost pipe from them, however I also appreciate the fact that they didn't send one that wasn't correct. I am going to reorder the Ghost pipe again, for two reasons. First, I really want it but more importantly now, I feel like such a chithead, and I'd feel worse if I didn't buy something else from them to try to make amends.

If anyone wants to take a stab at me for this, now's is the time to hit me when I deserve it most. I'm ready to take my lashings like a man.

That is very unfortunate for you, but good for everyone to know. A customer seems to often pay top dollar for equipment of questionable origin and\or quality.
On a better note (for me) I've dealt with Zipper's Performance, on a few occasions, for advice on setting up the Thundermax, and it is always productive and fast.
Hopefully you can get this worked out, 1aba

I just spoke with D&D and sent them the photos and they are going to see if they can help me out with my problem. They explained the situation regarding a problem with their chromer having contaminated tanks and that's obviously hurting them as well as me. They were very nice in dealing with me and I hope to have this resolved. Had someone sent me through to speak to someone higher up this morning, rather than just saying "I'm sorry you are having a problem", I wouldn't have been going through all of this posting. I guess it's my fault too for accepting that response and not asking to speak with someone else like I did on this call.
