Smile Pipe troubles (bagger)

Hi: I have 2006 Classic with Sampson rolled thunder slip-ons and Stage 1 air cleaner and power commander. Not thrilled about the open slant being on top to catch all the water and rust. Not that happy with sound and once or twice a month after traveling a few miles when i come to a light it stalls out, rpm's just drop off. It starts right up but it's very agrivating. Harley did't know the answer and said it must be a ecm download problem. Power Commander tech said everything was set right.

Trying to find the right system. Like the look of true duals (Reinhart) with the solid heat shield. Would love to find sull system that sounded great on the road but didn't have to lister to the old fart next door. Any suggestions please.

Thanks to all
Jack

You might want to look into Supertrapp mufflers, they are tuneable(by adding or removing discs) and come with a variety of end caps to suit individual taste. The old fart should be placated as well.
