Default Vance & Hines Big Shot Duals

Hi All,

I'm considiering Vance & Hines Big Shot Duals for an 06' Ultra.

Does anyone here have experience with these on your bagger? If so, how do they perform for you?

Also, does anyone know how long V&H will take to come out with this pipe in black like they did for the 09's?

I have them on my 08 ultra.with SE breather, power comander V <my self i do not like them as well as dual head pipes and them the mufflers of your choice.the heat shields are 1 piece as well as the exhaust pipes,If you decide to change the baffles you have to take them completly off the bike causethe shields cover the screws for them,Also the shields have to be put on befor the pipes are installed,There are better systems out there.

I installed them on a Dyna. I just wanted to mention that the screw that is covered by the heat shield is on the inside. So, I carefully marked the spot for the screw and drilled a hole prior to mounting them. I was glad I did later when I decided to install the quiet baffles instead. It made it so much easier. I even wrote a note to V&H and suggested they do that at the manufacturing level. I never heard back about that. The quiet baffles to my ears are deeper sounding and the torque increased enough that you can feel it. They are still loud when you get past 3000 rpms.
