Cool O2 sensor(s) Vance & Hines 09 Rocker

I purchased a 2009 Rocker from a reputable Harley dealer, I had the dealer install the Screamin Eagle big bore stage I kit, the Vance & Hines big radius exhaust, and a Super Tuner...bike currently has 700 miles on it and the front Oxygen sensor has "ripped" itself from the bung. I found it loose this weekend, tried to screw it back into the pipe but would never "seat". Gave a gentle pull on the sensor and it popped out of the pipe, the threads are fine on the sensor, the crush washer doesnt appear to have been "crushed" and there are no tool marks on the sensor. The threads are gone from the pipe. I have turned wrenches in the automotive field for 22 years and the only time I have seen anything similar to this is something being left loose and vibration destroying threads.
My question is...Has anybody experienced this? Their top tech is saying he has never even heard of this type of failure...common with Vance & Hines? or shotty workmanship?
Servicing dealer told me if I had these items installed at time of purchase they were covered by the full factory warranty? Now Im concerned about that line of thought since they drove 8 hours one way to pick up the bike and repair it (yes, they are bringing it back also) instead of letting my local dealer repair.

Long post, thanks for reading..

700 miles. Jeeze that bike aint broken in yet. This is the first I heard about any problems. The pipes could have been faulty to begin with or the mechanic hosed up the threads doing the job. I have seen parts that were made to work that should have been sent back.

That should be covered by the dealer should it not?

Who is doing the repair?

I've got V&H on my bike with the sensors, no problems.

Landers Harley out of Hot Springs Ar...I live in Kansas City and purchased the bike online, they shipped the bike to me...anyway, dealer picked the bike up yesterday, still waiting to hear from them...was just wondering if anyone else had the same experience with the O2 sensor coming dislodged from the pipe? (i.e. common with V&H)

It happened to me as well last week. I have an 09 Street Bob with Big Radius 2 into 2 pipes. With less than 500 miles on the odometer, the bike developed a pop on decel, poor gas mileage (around 30 mpg) and an additional metal on metal sound among the exhaust note at all speeds. Turned it in to the dealer and they had to order another pipe. Should get it back this Tuesday. I had the pipes installed at time of purchase, so I'm expecting it all to be under warranty.

I'll let you know how it goes...

Landers Harley called me this morning...the pipe was replaced under warranty and also had them do a 1000k service while it was there...They originally thought I was "wrenching" on the bike (trying to deflect blame away from the tech)...I assured them I hadnt touched the bike other than to ride...They had their TOP TECH inspect the damage and he told them I had nothing to do with it, they CLAIM the original tech over tightened the O2 and stripped the pipe, but now that its happened to you, Im wondering if its not a defect from V&H...anyway, they are shipping my bike back today, should be here this afternoon...all is good...by the way, Landers Harley went above and beyond on this one, especially the salesman (Randy the bald guy), he stayed with the bike every step of the way making sure I was taken care of...I thought since the sale was done he would be no help...I was wrong

I've had a set of V&H pipes on my bike for almost/just over a year now...no problems here and love my pipes.
