Thumbs up AIM exhaust article

Anyone looking to put on new exhaust should read the latest AIM article by Donny on exhausts to help figure out which one suits your needs and not just looks or sound.
Great article

Thanks. Most long term readers know that when Donny sets his sights on any subject related to Harleys he studies them in great detail and shares his findings with us.

Absolutely.
Donny is an addiction just like torque. This month is a perfect example of making the complex understandable.
Just learning that for maximum power a muffler should have ten times the volume of the cylinder it serves is enough info to help you make an exhaust decision that is about more than looks. You may not want the full ten but knowing about it might keep you from skinny short shots that rob too much power. Even if you pick the power robbers at least you know the price you pay for that look.
Went out for a run with a guy last night who's bike "should" be more powerful than mine. We discovered it isn't. I looked at his pipes when we stopped and thought, well that's what Donny means.
Keep it coming Donny

I confess, I bought his books too...
