All of the attempts to repair will have to wait for about two weeks when
time will allow attempts to repair.

I actually used the dry ice and heat gun on a toyota celica that was hail damaged. It worked great on the much thinner sheet metal hood with nice soft round shallow dents.

I have an old pair of rinehart end caps that I was thinking of using cut in half and then wedging aprt whilst in the pipe. ?

I did not consider forcing the baffle out and repairing the baffle later. Great idea. Really I mean it. Great idea!

That has got to be one of the slopiest welds I've done in a while...
I normally grind them off if they dont look good, but this was a quick project experimental prototype thingy........
