Default My 42 45

This is my 42 45 that I restored or should say put back together. It was a basket case that I picked up for 3,500 bucks at High Plains Harley Davidson in Clovis NM about 6 or 7 years ago. I did all the work my self except for the motor and transmission, I had Amarillo cycles do them. This bike was a basket of parts, everything from a yamaha front wheel to a sportster rear wheel. It had some really classy home made front and rear fenders. I really enjoyed working on this bike. I am thinking of selling it now and starting something else.

Nice bike. Curious why you hung the plate on the side?

And thanks for also posting it on the new classic American iron site www.caimag.com.

Cool bike dude! Don't care much for the fringe though... I'm a long time member of the "Just say no to fringe club"

Default Plate looks good

The plate looks good the way it's mounted. I saw a guy on a rice rocket a few days ago with the plate bolted to the side, facing sideways, not even visible from the rear. I was surprised the police were letting him get away with it.
