Default How do I edit my own post?

Ok. I have read the tiny tutorial on how to edit your post (many times), but I have never been able to find the "edit " button needed to do the edit!
Am I blind as a bat???

Dis8.

You are a "hold out" like myself. We moved over from the old site but did not have our
user/password reset like they asked. When you do that you get to do a little more and I think to edit your posts are one of them. The ones that are new or came from the old site
that followed the rules have them big fancy read letters for their user ID. We is just plain
dingy black.

Frisco went to the other side and upgraded to red letters. Then vanished. I kinda mis that ol coot. Only in humor Frisco...Only in Humor.

I am sure Admin will point us to the directions. They are out here somewhere on the site.

Too bad ADMIN cannot just upgrade us on the fly..... He or She probably rides a HONDA. Wears Yamaha colors. Still thinks putting together code for a website is like playing Pacman on a Gameboy. Cannot find their copy of AIM under the Archie comics.........:>) I just had to take a stab at ADMIN. They are more then likley following the rules or direction of some Manager. Dont get me going on Management.

Patience is a virtue and I am full of it!!!
Now now, don't take that the wrong way!!!
I figured out that Frisco took another sabatical while I was gone.
At least I hope he will be gone only temporarily......
To see him go twice in such a short time span, I hope all is well with him.
Time will tell.

Cool

Yes, it's too bad I can't update everyone on the fly, but this new software is a bit touchy. It doesn't want to play well with our original user database. You older users can get on the site by going to login and selecting "Lost Password" and that will take you trough a procedure to get online, which most of you have done. The problem is that it doesn't get you the full benefits of being a registered user for the new software. Among those benefits are avatars, signatures and signature pictures, beibg able to edit your posts, creating and voting in polls, and so on. So, bottom line, you need to register again from scratch, and to do that, I need you to drop me a line through "Contact Us", if you prefer, telling me you want me to delete your current account. Then you can re-register without getting an email error message. You can use your original username and password if you choose. You just use the "Register" link on the red nav bar to do all of that. Watch out for the validation email, which you need to click on the link in it to validate your email -- make sure a SPAM filter doesn't snag it. All of this FREE, we wouldn't want to screw our loyal readers. Enjoy, and sorry for the extra hassles.

In response to JCOURNEYAP, who rides a VESPA and wears a pink TuTu for body armor, keeps his license and registration in a Gucci purse, and can't read anything he can't color with Crayolas (box #1) , I have to say my manager, Buzz Kanter, is a pretty decent, stand-up guy, and he's always trying to make things a little better for the motorcycling community. He does it by not micro managing us here (the line for job applicants starts to my left).
