Default No private messsages???

Hey, why do you have a link for me to write a personal message, then not accept the message? I have an issue I'd like to bring to your attention...I think if it's caught now, it can be fixed. Thanks!

I have never sent a PM, but I got one the other day from our recently departed multi-personality friend. Same old verbal diareoha. La de da.

Thanks upnorthwi, I'll try that. I thought I'd clicked on it before, but it looks different now.

Oh, I owe you an answer from earlier...quit smoking 5 months ago, used the patch, kind of want one but not too bad. Gets easier every day. For me, it was more the habit...seems I couldn't wrench on stuff w/out one.

Take care, ride careful...

Congrats! 94flhtcu

Congratulations on quitting smoking. It's been 1 year for me. Hadn't ridden for about 13 years(children, work, etc)when I decided It was time to get back in the saddle. Mrs. informed me at the time there wasn't enough left at the end of the month to support another habit(as she calls them). The only "HABIT" I had that cost the most and gave the least was smoking. Tried "cold turkey"-NOT! Ended up using a new prescription drug and It helped just enough. Been smoke free for 1 year, a 2 pack-a-day habit easily transformed into enough money for a bike and then some. Also, I was contacted by my insurance agent yesterday and was informed that my life ins. premium dropped almost 50%

by the way-you'll always want one- just becomes easier to say no!

Thanks for the encouragement from all...greatly appreciated. It's a very trying thing to do. The patch allowed me just enuff patience to deal with frustrating times. Well, not all, but most.

Congrats to all of YOU as well...I know what an accomplishment it is!

And, 96, I know you are correct about wanting one. The usual ones, like after coffee or meals, are still itchin me but it'll go away. I HOPE! Thanks again...

Hey 94, this March it will be 10 years for me. Its a tough habit to break, but once done, you'll be glad you did. Good job and stay with it.
