Default Apology to forum members

Sincerely, I would like to apologize to all forum members for portraying myself as a real biker. After watching the first episode of "Sons of Anarchy", I realize I have been living a lie. I'm not as hardcore as I think I am. I mean, I don't have a bagger to transport drugs or carry the dope from one location to the next. I don't wear a vest, therefore I can't hide my 9mm, brass knuckles, bulletproof vest, fanny pack and lip balm. I'm such a wimp!! I just wanted to get that off my chest. On the other hand, I can't wait for the second episode tonight. Honestly I thought the show was a joke and it needs some help, preferably bringing Al Bundy on board to add his knowledge of life and maybe having Ron Pearlman do the show in his Hellboy persona. I'm such a loser

I do not get FX on my subscription to the Dish Network therefore I can not watch this show. Though I never saw the show I can tell that I'm not the biker I thought I once was. Hopefully I can have someone tape this show for me and after watching it maybe I can mend my biker ways. Until then I will not ride my Harley.

No,Evo, unseasonably warm, 60 or 65, nice riding and no bugs. How is it in MoTown?

To tell you the truth I'm a little p!$$3d off about the whole situation. There for a minute I got so excited, I thought I was starting to fit the mold. Then I go and watch this show only to wind up in disappointment. I, too, realized I am not to be considered a biker, but I guess, maybe...a yuppie :shrugz: I don't know what these guys are getting paid per episode, but if could get their pay for p!$$ poor acting then I would jump on the band wagon.

I'm going to buy a honda so I don't live in false state of denial! Happy riding

Really- the acting is horrible, I don't even get the sense of a bike gang (1%'ers) from them. I get the sense of a bunch of wannabe's. I will admit I continue to watch the show in hope that they've pulled it together and give that sense of true gang, but I'm not feelin' it...dawg

Hey tommy:
Weather here has been beautiful lately...'cept for last week when it rained just about everyday. My personel "comfort-zone" is between 55*-75* (same as my usual cruising speeds) and we're just heading into my favorite season to ride..usually right into November. Yesterday we topped out at 73*...it's 63* now (early-early AM) heading towards a sunny 81*...and back down to a partly cloudy 70* on Sunday. Which is perfect for the over-nighter I'll be pulling starting this afternoon...noting that I'll be napping for a few hours before I leave here.

Every couple of years old friends (married) throw a BIG reunion party for "the gang" (aprox 100 heads coming and going) at their place in the country...and the RULE is that if you RODE there you STAY there for the night...as in BYOB (bring your own blanket) and pick a spot..early or you lose !!!

Geez...talk about Anarchy.... !!!

Well - I watched about 1/2 of the 1st show and turned it off. How I can read about here - that is great. I think that this show is about the "bikers" in Detroit......
