Default Good to be back

Man, this server change is a move I NEVER want to go through again. Thanks to Admin Mike I believe we are finally back up and running.

I don't really understand it all, but Mike said the latest issue was the cookies in the server or something like that needed to be eaten or something. So I have been eating all the cookies I can find in the office.

So after several days not being able to sign into my own site, here I am.

Let's hope the pain is done and now we can have some fun here.

Upgrades, Migrate, and all that horse hockey that is involved when you change to a new way of doing things. Sometimes it just plain suks.

Mike(Admin). Tip of the glass to you! Thanks for the hard work! Now have Buzz give you that big fat raise you deserve.

Great work Mike, now hide the cookies and put Buzz on a treadmill or he'll never set a speed record. I thought the problem was with my computer as well. What a relief. Now that you're back I can start planning this winter's project. Maybe a Barnet spring kit and new ring gear, maybe clean-up the front end with bigger bars and hidden cables, maybe streatch and rake....maybe, maybe, maybe....

To all:
Thanks for the thank yous. Just doin' my job -- You Betcha. This move was particularly difficult because we are going on to our own server. Before we were sharing a server with others, so when they crashed, we crashed with them. Now we are on the Optimus Prime Super Computer, and things ought to run smoothly, but I had to learn a lot more about high-tech server management that I really wanted to--I'm just a graphics grunt. I'm not sure Buzz read the message about the raise. So far it has been pretty quiet in that department (since I came to work here in the Carter administration). In fact he says my raise is not getting fired

We never get raises doing a job we enjoy. There's a thousand people out there just wishing they had our job. That's what I've always been told, anyway.
