Default Saving old threads

Anyone ever tried to save or copy all of the content in a thread? My original top end re-build discussion from a few years ago is a great record of that adventure and if it is possible I'd like to keep it for posterity, future review.

I'm far from a forum expert...

But you could always print the pages to a PDF file and archive it that way.

Google CutePDF - works like a printer, creates PDF documents.

Cut and paste to a blank word page works. then it is in a format you can print it or save it to a dvd etc. as far as saving the web page, it can be done that way too, but I dont know about the long term. If the web page ever has a problem, then having saved the web page may not work.

Yes you can save it as a web page on your computer.
Go up to file, down to save as, and save it as a web page.
Save it where you want it on your hard drive.
When you want to open it just double click on the file name or open your web browser and then go to file; open and tell tell the computer where the file is stored.
If you want to edit it and use it as a word doument, then save it in a text file, you can open it in word, but there will be a lot of code, and you will not be able to open it in a web browser..
Also, make sure you save every page.
