Default How do I add a sig picture and add an avatar?

I tried adding a picture to my signature by copying and pasting my sig from another forum but it did not work, I also tried adding an avatar but that also does not work. Any info would be appreciated.

I'm still learning too, but up in the top left corner is "User CP" in white letters on the maroon top band.

Click that and use the menu and directions to add an avitar and signature.

Good luck.

Buzz, I tried it your way and got a signature but no avitar. It wouldn't let me add one. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks. I like the new bulletin board but am still getting used to it.

In the User CP box there is a selection that says "Edit Avatar". Click on that link. Then under the "Custom Avatar" area click on the Upload link (Option 2 -- you can use Option 1 to link to a file already on the web somewhere) and select the photo you want to use on your hard drive (it should be 80 pixels x 80 pixels). Wait a moment or so or two for the picture to show in the avatar box (after finishing its download). Then you are done! You can do the same for the signature photo too.

After you select the photo you want to upload, click on the "Save Changes" button, then your avatar will upload and appear at the top of your avatar edit box.

Don't know what happened but I now have more options and the ability to add an avitar. Thanks. Now I feel better.

Judging by the lack of an avitar next to your posts I am guessing you still were not able to do it.

For more help contact Admin. He's knowledgable and patient. And he won't out the software challenged among us.

Cool Photos

RuseDog:
I noticed your name is not in red and underlined. You will get the most out of the forums by re-registering -- things like avatars, being able to edit your posts, sig photos, signatures, etc. If you want to re-register, which is FREE, and only takes a couple of minutes at most, just PM me what you want to do, and I will disable your account so you can register without getting an error message. You can continue to use your username, passwords, and all just like before.
