Default What is speaker size for Streetglides??

Have 08 Streetglide. Was told that speakers are in need of upgrading to increase volume, and that the stereo is not the problem. So what size are the speakers? What ohm are they? What will work in place of stock? Are PolkAudio marine speakers a great choice?? What brand, model??

I've got J&M upgrade speakers in my '06 Streetglide and they're great. You can find them at their website. I don't know of anything that sounds good at 70 mph though, so don't be disappointed at high speed.

I am a big Hog Tunes fan - replaced all my speakers in the 07 - Pez is very easy to work with - give him a call.

i cant hear any of the stock speakers at over 20... age does that..

i use the headset & i can hear really well - ive removed my rear speaker pods [stored safe for when it sell it] and have the speakers turned off. if you really want to listen to music but dont wear a helmet there are headsets that just clamp over your head but are not too visible. the headset also muffles out most of the wind noise as well. - on the new bikes [06 & newer] all the radios can have the headset plugs added.
