have a headache!! moter is a 93incher heres the problem have put a mallory eletronic distributer in it and when hittin the lazy button she binds up when slowly crankin to tdc stop then hit button again will start sometimes sometimes not i have replaced starters clutch baskit batterys you name it! but when kick starting [ i know a lost art ] will start with no problem. any other old school boys ever go through this?
I don't know if i'm on the right track but what's your compression ratio? Is it happening on the compression stroke? Maybe you're in need of some compression releases. Did it happen before you put the mallory in? You could have a power draw somewhere so you would have to get a meter and check it out. I don't know if i helped you out or not but let me know how you make out.
