Default 1992Fatboy

I bought a 1992 Fatboy a little over a month ago and had no starting problems. After having the center console replaced a few weeks ago when I ride the battery drains and all the bike does is click when I try to restart it. The dealership has checked the battery and electrical system saying all is well. I got it back and 3 days later the same thing. It's back in the shop. My question, perhaps a dumb one: why not have a kick start put on to have as a back up?

Hi Ram

You would prob have to replace the exhaust to make room for the kicker..
The addition of a kick mod to your tranny is not as simple as just slipping a kicker cover on..

I would think that since your sparky prob started after the sickle was worked on it can prob be fixed by fixing whatever was screwed up at that time.. Then you won't need that kicker..

A great place to look for probs is the last thing worked on..

Plus, an elect. prob like this will affect kick-starting too..
