Has anybody had any luck repairing the fork lock stud on a 2000 flhtcui ignition switch? Switch works fine, but will not drop the stud to lock the fork. Not that big a deal to replace, but I'd like to repair it if I can.

I think you would be better off replacing it unless they have some sort of kit to refurbish what aint working. I sheered my fork lock stud off. All it took was one hard turn on the handle bars while tired. I replaced. Dunno why. False security you ask me.
