No spark My first suspicion would be the ignition coil.
They warm up when in use and it sounds like yours develops a problem. It could be a internal short or open circuit. After it cools down everything is ok untill the next warmup.
Diagnosing this requires an electrical meter just after is "fails", while still hot.
The next thing to check would be the ignition sensor in your engine. Over time they can get heat sensitive too, pretty much the same symptoms.
Typically though, if the sensor is going bad, they will start leaking green goo out of the sealant right where the wires enter inside them. |
