I was trying to charge a battery with a smart charger and it would charge then it wouldn't depending on where I wiggled the wire.
Could this kill my battery charger and then drain the battery, cause that's what I think happened the other day. |
Whenever you have a poor connection it is like running a air conditioner on a small extension cord. Something is going to get hot. It can burn up your battery terminals, burn up your wires, burn up your solenoid, burn up your starter.
How old is your battery?
Is the loose wire in the battery charger or the bike?
