ironheadneil, does anyone know what generator looks like? The only place you might find a heavy duty one is in vintage catalogs for police bikes before1978 I believe. If you just want to up the output or charge rate look for a different regulator. An uncontrolled generator can produce an amazing amount of voltage/amps, enough to burn your wiring harness and then some. Be careful in selecting the regulator and don't go but a couple amps above the factory recommended rate unless you upgrade the wiring. |
