I know this thread is sort of old, but I added one to my bike recently and I couldn't be happier. People that actually have plenty of time to turn ahead of me still wait until I pass. I think a lot of people think I'm a cop, so they are extra careful about pulling out in front of me. On the other hand, people often pull over to the side of the road if I am behind them with it on. If they are slow drivers, that is not always a bad thing. Sometimes at lights people ask me if my headlight is supposed to do that.
The one I have is from a company called comagination. You put on your brights to make it work, or your normal lights to turn it off. It has a light sensor, so when it gets dark, it stops working so your brights go back to being your brights.
The way I see it, I would rather annoy a few people than be dead. So to me, it is worth it.
