Have a couple ''Light" beers and work on the bike some more. Sound like you got what was coming to you if are serious about getting lit up and modifying your bike!

Did you cut them while the lights were on?
Anything else not working?

Welcome to the forum....

Might want to pick up a manual for your bike, and check out the wiring diagram. then trace each wire, cap off the ones you dont want, and then hook up the ones needed to make it work.

Or

Did the fuse blow when you cut the wires>??? that could happen if the bike was on when ya cut them, like HC suggested.

(good one Pat..."light" beers")

good luck.

The fuse you're looking for is the "Lights" fuse. It has a blue wire coming out of it. When you cut the turn signal wires, you'll notice that the front constant power (running light) is on a blue wire. It is the same wire that feeds the headlight, both HIGH and LOW beam.

So, if that wire is shorting out, you'll be blowing that Light Fuse all the time.

You need to isolate that wire, and properly insulate it.
