Default stripped turn signal

My rear turn signal is stripped out, everything else works fine. Is there anything I can do to hold it on the threads for the time being? A good adhesive or something to that aspect. I will replace in awhile but $$$ is a little tight right now. Thanks

You could probably repair it with a Helicoil (or similar thread repair) & not have to replace it. You should be able to buy a kit for around $20 and do it yourself, it's a simple job. If you don't want to try it yourself, check with a local machine shop they should be able to do it in about 5-10 minutes.

What exactly is stripped? Does the lens thread over the housing?? or is it the housing threads to the mount?

If it is the lens to the housing, then maybe a temp fix would be to wrap the housing with electrical tape, but not too thick, you dont wanna break stuff. This should look ok, till you can get the new lenses.

Or

paint in some pvc glue, several thin layers, let it harden, and then carve in new threads......
