Angry Indicator lights?

I have a 2003 wide glide and I can't get the neutral light or oil pressure light to come on. I checked neutral switch and it is ok. Any ideas?

Don’t have my schematic in front of me, but your neutral light and oil switch light are fed from a common feed inside your dash.
The current will go through the LED bulbs then to the two different senders that are the ground when the sender/switch is closed
Try wiggling the plug in connection around on the dash.
You might have burnt out bulbs but doubt both would go at the same time.
I will look at my schematic later and see if I can add anything.
How did you check the neutral switch, what do you mean by that?

Yea all the above. The instrument light cluster is a solid state circuit board. The plug in number six plug is the hot for the feed for these two lights it is a orange wire.
It runs from the fuse box and is fused as the instruments 15a (instra) and has a orange wire.
This fuse also feeds the fuel gauge sending unit, so if this fuse is blown then the fuel gauge is not working also.
If the fuel gauge is working then check the connection that goes to the instrument circuit board and see if #6 is hot with the ignition on.
So guess I am saying check your fuse.Daaah.
Disclaimer: Of course all I have is my Softail manual but I am pretty sure the dash is the same on the WG. Your bikes wiring may vary, use of this information is strictly used with the knowledge that the original poster is not liable for any damage caused by mis reading or interpretation by said other user.

If you have an erection for more than four hours, don’t call me, that is just sick.

Checked by using ohm meter
