Well, I made a deal with my brother, ol'man, and uncle that we would all go to Sturgis 2009....
So here is the progress so far.....
Here is mine...actual motor is going to be 130 inch EVO, the delcron cased, baisleySTD headed 98inch shovel is my old mans motor for his build....
This one will be getting entered in the show.... hoping to get her in a mag too....
and here is my brothers.....
99 softail custom 2 up 4 out, 38 degrees. Front wheel is only for mockup because his wife forgot to order the axel, and he hasn't gotten the brake set up finished for the 18 for the front, with an FLH fender. It is an evo/6speed. Will also post more as I get'um...
hoping to have some more later this week including some of the oldmans baby shovlehead build...he just started this week....
Once my brothers is finished, He has to get cracking on the wife's custom sporty..... she is tagging along.... should be pretty cool also.
I will keep this updated...
let me know what ya think....

"Yessir, the check is in the mail."
Working on gettin more together..... I will keep this updated pretty Regulary, and will be getting more pics up...

Nice project and good luck. What kind of front end is that?
The springer is from DNA very affordable, and very very nice.

My brother has his new tins mocked up, and are ready to get final body and paint work. Tins will be painted by a very close friend that we went to highschool with. Probably going silver, with blue metallic real flames added, and keeping the blue frame, will get other little blue effects to tie it all together. I beleive he has turned this into one amazing sled....
The 6 over springer/ flh fender, and 18 inch front wheel / 36 Degree rake really set the bike off... The solo seat will complete the act, and should make the bike stand out in a crowd.
Here is the old mans shovel head softail project, going into mock up....
5 degree trees have been added, and frame clean up is begining, then tins will be mocked up, first priority is getting that Delcron billet Cased, Baisley STD headed, 98 incher set in the frame, and getting the modified STD cased 4 speed kicker set up in the frame. Will be getting backed with a 200 series metzler 880

Sounds like a cool deal. Must be nice to have so many family members involved in the hobby like this.
Let us know how it goes.
It is definately very cool, because we are all in different states at this point, and it keeps us all very close. We all make sure that we go visit, and it actually helps us be alot close that the states really seem. I talk to my old man several times a week, and the same with my brother.
My mom is/always has been very supportive of the custom bikes/cars, so it is a very cool thing. One of the future updates to this thread will be the second build that my brother will be doing for this trip, and that is the sporster that will be set up along the lines of a fatboy for his wife.
I am gonna have to get my stuff together to get a trike built for mine after the sturgis trip...

Well, I have been lazy about updating this, busy with the pregnant wife.....
Big brother just finished his....
Well... hope these aren't too big....
Flames were very hard to photograph as they are done in flake that matches the paint.... here is a pic of the dashboard after paint, so you can see the flame work in the flake.
Please let us know what ya think...
