Seems to be a low interest for this project so I do some fewer updates here, next will be later when it are more complete.

Well, some more done now, put a outside gusset on the frame before I cut out on the inside of the frame to make clearance for the starter cover, the new crossbember is lowered 1 1/2" to give clearance to the low mounted starter, the stock starter is on the top on these bikes, and far more stiffer than stock as it will be a part of a engine protection bars below the engine. Better to repaint the frame than swap the whole engine.

Well..., this starts to be serious low now and super stiff, be ready to take on any engine aviable in it. no more stability problems even with a very powerful 162 cc/24 hp engine, can take even more if it were put in there.

Soon I will go on against the rear frame and make that ready too. Have built it from front to rear end policy so nothing hicks up during the process. However, this new crossmember is not fully complete yet as I will give it tubular wedges to support and protect it. and that will complete the engine cradle of the the frame.

Engine testfitted. fits perfect!

Starts to make details to it now, here is the seat pan, med of a Wide Load sign from an old trailer, quite tatty sign which had been scrapped from the trailer, but now that shall be upholstered and covered with black leather.

So the project is standing still. After this I will make the exhaust and the end tubes will look as a double barreled big buck shot gun with sights and all .... Not a innocent straight tube...

Get on work on it yesterday.

Starts to be nice now.... I am very sad I can't afford a Harley to build on... Could be a nice bike in my hands. Started now to make some parts for the foot clutch and the handshifter too now. Yes, go all the old school way, and I presume Frisco will certainly love all these small old school tricks. Have some nasty plans in my head to throw on a sportster tank on it too now....

New exhaust! Next step, grind down welds and chrome it again

The end tubing will be replaced to a 3" straight tube.

Very tight fitting.

Man somebody get this Bit..... a Harley, I would love to see what she could do with some resources.
Nice seeing someone modifying bikes, and not just bolting on plastic chrome.;-)
I have more respect for someone who builds a bike from nothing than someone who walks into a dealership and plunks down 40k for a bike they wear like jewelry and will never get wet.
