OK, I finally have to face the facts and sell off one of two of the bikes I had purchased a future projects for American Iron Magazine. We have more than we can handle so I am posting this one here first. It would make a great rider as is, or a terrific project bike for a forum member.
As you can see it is mostly a stock 1982 Harley FXB Sturgis dual belt Shovelhead. Some mods include straight pipes (sound amazing) that are heat wrapped, LaPera solo saddle, saddlebag struts, chrome forward controls, different handlebar, Harley oil-cooler, S&S carb, and more.
Starts with electric or kick and runs good. New Harley battery and Harley Dunlop tires.
The Sturgis is a limited edition Shovelhead Big Twin with factory belt drive and belt primary.
Asking $6,000. The bike is in Stamford, CT. I have a clear title for the bike.

What a beautiful bike. I'd love to own it. But - I've got my 85 Ironhead and my 99 Ultra, so I'll have to be happy with what I have, and I am indeed! Good luck Buzz. I'm betting it will sell easily.
nice bike bro! the rate is in USD right? for Malaysia Ringgit, its about RM 23,000.00. ($6,000.00 x RM3.8). current rate for USD is higher than Malaysia rate. the published rate exclusive of taxes, freight etc. pity me..
anyway, for RM23,000.00, its quite cheap. happy selling bro!

It is still for sale although I have not been active to promoting it. So you can still buy it if you wish.

Hello again,
My wife is in the crating and shipping business, so I just asked her about it. The bike would have to be in a crate, no gas, no battery, no oil etc. The lumber to build the crate/pallett would need to be kiln dried. it would need to be inspected, and have to be opened up for customs etc.
Then I did a search and found this link..... I have NOT used them, I only just found it this evening, but it is a start.
I shipped a bike from Michigan to Florida. Didn't have to do any of that crazyness of no battery, gas or oil. Just rolled it into the truck and they strapped it to a pallet. Used JCMotors I think. There are some other better companies but I don't have the links here at work.
