Default Many years ago

Back in 72 I bought a new Jap dirtbike. It was delivered to me with Klotz in the oil injection tank so I stuck with it. It did the job, in fact the old bike is in my barn and will probably be running if I can manage to unclog some plugged jets in the carb- my bad got too many other things going and gas went sour in it. I'm glad to hear they are still making oil. Maybe someone on the forum can tell us whether their V- Twin blends measure up. Sincerely Shovelmike.

Until I saw Klotz on the Dennis Kirk website, I'd never heard of it. But from what I've read on the internet, they make a full line of oils, both motor, primary, and transmission. Hope someone can add more about its 'goodness.'

Yes on API:

Engine oil is 20W50 andis API SH/CG-4
Primary oil is 80W90 and API GL-5/6
Transmission (gear) oil is 75W140 and API GL-5/6

They make other weights too.

So, other than lack of name recognition, data looks good. Web site is: www.klotzlube.com/main.asp

I've just never seeon or heard of this oil. Thought it might be an alternative tothe Red Line oils I use now. Hence my question.

Seems to me someone @ Corporate should have consulted the marketing guys before going w/a line of motor oil products named "Klotz".

Good grief!

Ride hard . . .

Default Try Amsoil

You might try viewing the Amsoil website, www.amsoil.com
and there is tons of information you can educate yourself with, it's
turning into the most used synthetic oil in the US as people find out
about it....nothing else compares, not even close.
