Thumbs down Sert

Ok I was reading in another magazine yesterday that installing a SERT or a PC will void your warranty. I usually don't get to excited about this stuff but it got me to thinking.
The dealer installed the SERT - did not have me sign anything saying it would put my bike out of warranty - so I am going on the assumption that everything is OK.
I however, am just going to wait until something happens to see what happens..... I think it will become very interesting.

Of course, you do know that you can't believe everything you read but still....

rumors - rumors - rumors -

I actually asked the dealer what the scoop was before they used the SERT on my bike. They insisted that the warranty would be honored and, more specifically, it would be honored if anything went wrong as a result of changes made while race tuning the bike.
