BluesFan,
You can blame the kidney stone, the gall stones, the Rolling Stones or the Rosetta Stone.
But who did you send the e-mail to?

Got it.

Belrays 20-50 is just slightly thicker than Mobil 1.

19-21 cSt at 100C vice Mobils 1 @ 17.7

The Tranny oil is about a Hypoid 80-140

24.5*26.5 at100C Mobillube HD 85W-140 is 25.4, HD 80W-140 is 26.6

Primary is a really thin, nearly as thin as ATF.

9.0 to 10.5 cSt at 100C, ATF is 7.1 to 7.6 depending on the exact mix.

Default Atf

OK

ATF could be used in the primary. The lower viscosity could reduce clutch drag just like it did 40yrs ago. Based on viscosity it is too thin for a motorcycle transmission. Consequently too thin for a Sportster primary.

OK

Engine oil in the engine
Primary oil in the primary
Trans oil in the trans

Jeez thatwas hard !!!
