Default First Day of Spring - Heavier Oil?

OK, today is the first day of Spring, is it time to switch over to heavier oil?

Seriously I am curious how many people use different weight oil for different seasons, or do you use the same blend year round?

Used to run straight 60 wt. in the Summer in the old Shovel, didn't trust the multi-weight. Switched over to multi-weight on all of 'em a couple of years ago figuring that on cool mornings the engine might be slow pumping the syrup to the top end....so far-so good. If I lived where it gets extremely hot (desert) I might go for straight 60 in the heat- I believe the film strength is better in extreme temps.

Even though I'm in the North East, My bike is in a heated garage and at work I can pull her indoors. It's really all about cold startup. After shes warmed up it really doesnt matter that much. I think if it gets cold enough to effect it then I wont be riding anyway.

Thats why I voted same year round.
