I have been using Mobil 1, 15W50. Didn't know that they stopped selling it here. I usually get it at Canadian Tire. Did they stop selling it? Any idea what is going on?

I got it at Can Tire also but they couldn't figure out what was going on so I called Imperial Oil and was told it wasn't being produced anymore. Another call to a certain expert confirmed this and also my suspicions that they stopped because they want us to buy their v-twin formula, which of course is the same product but $4.00 a litre more. I'm curious to know if it is still available in the U.S.? For the time being I will probably just go back to harley synthetic.

Default Mobil 1 used to be good.

Mobil 1 aint' too bad a oil. Amsoil is better... way better.
Mobil1 and HD Syn3 have twice the wear scar in the 4 ball wear test and score less to in all other categories. Amsoil 20W-50 motorcycle oil is the way to go, sold in the U.S. and Canada by independent dealers.
visit www.amsoil.com and read up on the statistics. Only way to go.

Having trouble with my Horn (on my Harley Davidson Motorcycle)
If I rub som amsoil into it, will this effect a cure. Seems to be real magical stuff.
Are people like Q8 oils Etc. etc. all tellin fibs when they quote API SL, JASO MA, etc.
All the racing teams revin ta zillions o revs know mobil 1's rubbish, yeah!

A bewildered Stretch, or is this more commercial advertising garb?
Don't hear my rice grinder colleagues rubbishin other oils, they just put the stuff in rev it to 12k revs and seem to get car mileage reliability out of em.??
Ma lawnmower ain't had an oil change since I bought it ten years ago. (I dont advise this, by the way for yer Hogs!!)

Best regards to all my U.S. Bros. Stretch

Default Not magic, just best

Greetings Stretch,

No, not magic, they don't make that claim. Only claim to be the best, backed up by all the independent agency standard tests and millions of miles of over the road testing for 35 years. Check the Bobby Unser story, he and his racing buddies used to pour Amsoil into the "other brands" oil cartons inside their garage, then outside, their sponsors would see them putting in the oil from the containers with their sponsored oil on the outside. All the drivers knew they'd have their sponsorship pulled if their sponsors found out they were using Amsoil. Those are published facts. plain and simple.
Mobil 1 claims to the American people "Nothing outperforms Mobil 1". Well, it's a lie. You can visit my website, www.SyntheticSolution.com and click on the blue button "why Amsoil" and read the test results for yourself. Amsoil outperforms Mobil 1 in all 5 major standard oil tests. Period.
