I know people (via a club) who swear by them. They are even mechanics and bike builders/customizers. Claim the K&N washable filter is better then most disposables.

I just can't see paying $120.00+ for a filter and chrome housing(that you can't see) that I have to wash out. I try really hard to change my oil/filter without running oil down my wrist.

Ofcourse I wasn't going to wash out a diaper in the toilet either.
