Greasing the steering head I am slightly embarrassed to ask this question because this should be such an easy task. I need to grease my steering head on my 07’ FLHX as per routine maintenance. According to the shop manual all you need to do is lockout full to the right and you’ll have access to the grease fitting. The location of the fitting is toward the front of the steering head and can’t be reached using my standard grease gun. Can I get a thin flex hose with a fitting that will get this job done or should I just try and change the fitting to one that comes out on a 90 degree angle so that I can reach it straight on. What do you guys do to reach this fitting? Thanks for the help.
