I have a 1991 flhs and the oil filter, bracket that bolts to bottom of engine keeps coming louse. any help to stop this will sure help.please.

I'd give some blue loctite a shot or if you have the room try a putting a pressure washer between the bolt and frame. Pressure washer is not the right term for the washer I'm thinking of but it is the type of washer that is split and and applies pressure to the bolt to keep it from backing out.

Its called a lock washer, and you are correct in its use.
Both of these items will put an end to bolts backing out, unless of course, its a stripped out hole, or stripped out screw....
