Default My Old Pan

Hey all,

I did a pretty good job keeping tabs on my old Pan after I sold it. Unfortunately, it changed hands again and this time no clue where it went. If anyone has or has seen 63 FL 7120 drop me an e-mail. I always figured I'de have that bike back sooner or later. Botz

Hey Botz...you might be able to trace it down thru your states DMV,if it's still titled there...OR, if you know a cop who'll run the VIN for you.

So why'd you sell it in the first place and did you tell the new owner you wanted first right of refusal if he decides to sell?

Good luck tracking it down.

AAAHHH...It was just one of those things. Money was tight, storage space tighter. I had to decide between that and my Sturgis. The Sturgis was more practical for the type riding I was doing at the time. I'll find it. Botz

Default Good Luck

Good luck tracking down the Pan. My first car was a '57 Bel-Aire. Bought in '69 and sold in '72. It was getting some serious rust and nobody made new panels back then. I knew it was a keeper but, like you, money and storage was a problem and had college to spend time and money on.
Those cars are a masterpiece it's hard to believe, but I recently read that marketing was ready to release the unibody (as in '58) but the cost accountants said no so they revamped the existing platform to make the '57.
I sometimes dream I found that car....then I wake up, darn it.

Geez. Money! You always seem to need it when you dont have it. I am looking into the near future and I know I am going to need what I dont have.

I hope the hell I dont have to sell my bike. Course I have two small kids. That means I kinda need my cage. Geeez!!! I hope I dont loose it. Anyway until then.......Feet 2 inches off the deck for as long as I can.

I am not in a very good mood...................
