Default Sunday Ride

Just came back from riding my 1948 "Crustoration" Panhead to Marcus Dairy and back (about 20 miles each way) this morning. I also rode it there last Sunday.

Both times it was the center of attention. You shoudl have heard all the stories and inaccurate info people were sharing about it.

Any every single person assumed it was a barn fresh bike. Many of them asked me when I am going to restore it. My response was something like "why mess with it, this bike runs great."

It says something when your bike stands out among so many others. Maybe I'll see you up there one of these days. Happy riding!

Man, "barn fresh" brings an entirely different vision to mind than a '48 Panhead.
