Hey Comanche

I am a firm believer that the E is tooo big a venturi for a Pan 74" motor..
The E venturi is 39.6mm (1.56") and the biggest carb model that came with your motor NEW was an M-74 Linkert & was only 33.3mm (1.312")..
Now that you've gotten High (in elevation) you need that larger Venturi even less,, I would be thinking about a 38mm Butterfly Keihin or Bendix..
My 36mm bendix ran very good on the 54 Pan I built in the 70's when gas was still good & at sea level..
Just something to think about as time goes.............

Anyway--- now that you're up about 5K feet I'd just do a couple plug color test runs..

Shut-Off the accell pump then get on the hi-way and run steady for about 15 Miles at a steady 75+ mph.. Try to Not fluctuate speed/rpms..
Look ahead, pick a safe place, then pull-in (dis-engage) clutch and shut-down motor as the same instant.. Do NOT down-shift or release clutch or anything,,, simply coast to road-side, put on gloves and pull plugs..
A greyish or tan color on the electrodes and porcelain is a good color..
Waaaaay darker is too rich & waaaay lighter could be too lean..
Adjust Main-Jet accordingly..
Now either take a frontage road home or just ride slow in the right lane,, about 30mph in 3rd (that should be about 2200 rpm) for several miles and repeat procedure,,,, that will show you the A/F mix color of the Intermediate Jet at that RPM..

Have a ball
