Default Police style solo seat w/air suspension

Recently purchased a used seating system, looking for information on mounting the system. My purchased included the seat, bladder, plastic shell, and tour pack rack (no tour pack) and compressor. I own a 2000 RK classic with a stock seat which is very uncomfortable, can't ride for more than 2 hours without stopping for a extremely sore and numb buttocks.

Talking just bought flhtpi

HI
I just bought a 2006 flhtpi with solo seat w/ air suspension. I thought one of the first modifications was going to be a new seat . But the more I ride it the more I like it.I think it rides as smooth as my fullsize pick up.

there are four holes in the frame of all flt bikes where the front seat bracket goes - but you need the 4 "rivnuts" that go in there - the air bag mounts in holes that are in all the frames right behind the batt.

they go on just fine and ride devine.. many folks take them off police bikes for the "cool looking seat" i have to laugh, the police seat is designed for 12 hours at a time - they are just flat wonderful - i have one on a 07 ultra - bolts right on.

I am now interested in this 12 hour seat. What years does it fit? Is it a solo? Where can I see one?

The sprung solo police seat is patterned after the stock pogo seats all Harleys and many Indians had back in the day. They are very comfortable - even on rigid frames.

Hi 94, steelrider deleted his post but I am interested in what he suggested or what you did about your saddle. I have 2 Mustang seats, one on the old which is perfect and one on the 07 which is a very nice seat but not right for me. I trying to get a variety of opinions as it might be fairly expensive by the time I get the correct seat.
Thanks
