Exclamation WARNING! Don't buy 2 Wheel Tunes!

Do NOT buy a 2 Wheel Tunes system from bikebandit.com or Drag Specialties (or anyone else, for that matter)!

I called the manufacturer after getting one for Christmas, opening the package only to see "METRIC ONLY" on a sticker on the box. Funny thing is, there IS no manufacturer. 2 Wheel Tunes has gone out of business and is no longer making, warrantying, or supporting this product. Vendors that still have them are trying to get rid of their inventory. Bikerbandit.com even tried to convince me that the unit would still fit my bike even after the guy I spoke to at the manufacturer (who actually designed the 2 Wheel Tunes system) assured me it wouldn't.

The patent for the system and the designer both now reside at Cycle Sounds (www.cyclesounds.com), and you can order direct from them. The speakers and amp both are said to be significantly improved from the old system (at the same price)... but they WERE trying to sell me a radio. Honestly, I'm more concerned about the warranty and tech/part support. Mine showed up via UPS today, and I'll let you know how it sounds/installs as soon as I get it done.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

I've heard great stuff about Hog Tunes too... but finding a solution when you're not on a bagger can be tricky.

Harley's solution sucks. It's WAY to big and clunky. Messes up all the lines.

Sofar, 2 Wheel Tunes/Cycle Sounds is the only system out there with a good reputation for sound that doesn't put a big ugly mess of a radio on your riser or handle bars.

I had a Roadking that I put J&M speakers on - they worked great for 6 years. I bought the amplified speakers and had a window bag on the windshield - I used a portable radio for a while - then went to my Ipod..... It worked great and if I were to get another bike - I would do the exact same thing again.

I bought them they sound horrible what a waste of $500.00 the speakers are poor quality. Can't hear it over 40mph wind noise drowns it out. Amp bracket broke and damaged my front fender on my 97 Heritage Springer. I wound up using ear plugs instead!

Thumbs down Re: WARNING! Don't buy 2 Wheel Tunes!

Good Idea: poor quality. A waste of $500.00 Wind noise at 40mph drowns out the crackling speakers. The sound quality stinks! The amp bracket broke and the amp pounded the back of my front fender on my 97 Heritage Springer
