Default Seat ideas

My wife wants a new seat on the Sporty, something with a wider pillion so she can ride longer without ending up walking like John Wayne with a wedgie. It's got to keep her from sliding forward, or at least less than the current seat does. It's also got to keep me back, off the tank. I'm 6' 3" with a 36" inseam and even with the forward controls on the 883 my legs aren't exactly stretched out; so what would be forward for someone of average height feels pretty much like mid-mount to me.

I've narrowed it down to a few choices but wanted to get some input.
My choices:

- Harley Sundowner: Nice seat and a wider pillion, and doesn't look too weird on the bike being that wide.
My problems with this are: I was told that the pillion area won't keep her from sliding forward as it slants down toward the front a hair. The big thing for me on this seat is I was also told that it will move me up towards the tank and inch or more.

- Mustang: Just wondering if the rider's seat will shove me up towards the tank and if I should go with a smoother seat or one of the overstuffed pillow style? Wife likes the pillow style, but I don't want the bike loosing it's lines by having a wide and high seat. I might as well but a lounge chair or club chair in back of the tank or go buy an Ultra Classic (and they cost a lot more than a seat! LOL)

- Ulitma: Not too familiar with this brand, but I like the idea of the gel seat. The pillion is wide, but the seat looks pretty thin and the bucket on both rider and pillion areas are shallow. So I wonder how the ride would be for my wife, and if the seat is going to be something we sit *in* or sit *on*? My current seat I seem to sit right in, where some seats I've been in just sort of meet my ass in a couple places and it's not to comfortable on long runs.

Corben as nothing I want. I know their seats and they're nice riding, especially the ones with the gel, but their styles just don't do it for me.

So these are what I've narrowed it down to. Looking for opinions and open to suggestions.

Mustang seats generally sit higher which may not be a great idea. Ultima I know nothing off. Corbin seats are bit hard riding and narrow, I didn't know they offered gel seats...Uhm?

I don't ride a Sportster but I am ordering a new Saddlemens Explorer seat with gel for my Road King. Expensive but no more than others. These seats sit you a bit lower, typical of gel seats from what I've seen. They also give the passanger area an contour to deal with sliding forward. They will also customize it to your liking. Thats what I like.

I know Corbin will customize seats, too, but their styles just aren't to my liking. I am thinking about getting a Kuryakn quick release seat bolt so I could swap out seats so I could put the "wife seat" on only when I had to.

Not too impressed with Le Para's stuff either. Most their seats seem to be based on one seaters and who's steering the bike, not who's alond for teh ride - which is my main concern
I'm probably going to end up buying something on ebay, and the seats I mentioned are consistantly being listed for a very decent price. I'd loveto drop $400 on a new seat that I want, rather than what I have to settle for, but until I get a biz loan and start making money, hit the lotto, or grow a pair of hooters and can dance on a pole, that's just not happening.
